2022-1 Taiwan Higher Education Fair in Indonesia(Online)

National Ilan University (NIU) started as Taiwan Provincial Ilan School of Agriculture & Forestry in 1926. Since then, NIU has maintained its distinguished status in academic as well as in research fields. NIU stands in Top 3 Teaching Excellence National Universities in Taiwan. Currently NIU is home to the College of Bioresources, College of Engineering, College of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science and the College of Humanities and Management.

NIU is located in Yilan city that is 50 minutes’ drive from Taipei. NIU has its own forest land in Jiaoxi for experimental application, forestation and ecological research. In addition, NIU has a campus at Wujie that focuses on professional animal research and a newly established campus near Yilan Scientific Park for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) application and intelligent (smart) agriculture. Our main campus sits in the center of Yilan city and students have convenient access to shopping mall, restaurants and other living facilities.

Tuition and Miscellaneous

The above are estimated rates for the 2021 academic year. The actual tuition & miscellaneous fees would be announced on the relevant date.

The exchange rate between US$ and NT$ is about 1:27-1:33 and subject to change.

 

Accommodation

NT$9,500 per semester. The fee is subject to change and not includes summer and winter vacation.

Type of Student Aid Grants:

• New students are granted half Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees waivers in their first academic year.
• Upon approval by each relevant college evaluation committee, new students with excellent academic performance in their respective former degree programs, and returning students or transfer students with excellent academic performance in their previous semester, will receive full Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees waiver.

• Graduate students: Upon approval by each relevant college evaluation committee, new students with excellent academic performance in their respective former degree programs, and returning students with excellent academic performance in their previous semester receive NT$8,000 per month.
• Undergraduate students: Upon approval by each relevant college evaluation committee, new students with excellent academic performance in their respective former degree programs, and returning students or transfer students with excellent academic performance in their previous semester, will receive NT$4,000 per month.

• Graduate students: Upon approval by each relevant college evaluation committee, new graduate students with excellent academic performance in their former degrees, and returning graduate students with excellent academic performance in their previous semester, will receive full School Dormitory Fees waivers.
