Shih Hsin University (SHU) was established in 1956 and has nurtured numerous media talents for more than half a century. The mission of SHU is, "Combining academic knowledge with learning skills, morality with intelligence, as well as hands and minds working together.” SHU has stayed true to this mission, nurturing both the integrity and intellectual capabilities of students, and integrating theoretical knowledge and practical skills in teaching. Starting from an institute of nurturing media talents, SHU has developed into an omnimedia higher education center and kept growing steadily into a comprehensive university in all aspects. SHU not only continues cultivating more media talents for the country, but also training professionals in all aspects.

The LED Virtual Stage is a space equaling 470 square meters and is equipped entirely with Hollywood’s latest technology. The initiative that Shih Hsin University is taking to invest in the future creates a glow of hope for the continued growth of the school despite the low birthrate, as well as proves that Shih Hsin can be a key player in boosting the domestic film industry through new technology and revising the process of production.

Shih Hsin University is located in Wenshan District in Taipei City, the capital city of Taiwan. Due to its geographical conditions, it takes only 10 minutes on foot from Jingmei MRT Station to the campus, while there are Ubike (known as shared bicycles) and bus stations near the campus as well. Apart from the convenient transportation system around the University, Jingmei Night Market and Gongguan Night Market in the vicinity of the area also provide students with convenient and abundant living amenities.

CTuition Fees and Miscellaneous Fees vary according to the charging standards of each department.

CDormitory Fees vary according to the room type you choose. SHU provides single room, twin room and quadruple room. Security Deposit will return at the end of the semester.
