All engineering-related academic departments are IEET Accredited. FCU is also the first university in central Taiwan to receive AACSB accreditation.

Excellence in Teaching-- The values of education lies in students' attitudes and behaviors. FCU is devoted to motivating students to learn, to improve interpersonal communication, and to enhance problem solving skills through innovative teaching methods and course design. Therefore, in this ever-changing world, FCU students are expected to prepare themselves for job markets that stress newly created technologies.

Focused Research-- New knowledge and new technology is derived from research. Therefore, FCU has been dedicated to multidisciplinary research in order to enhance research capacity and improve industry-academia collaboration.
FCU recruits outstanding scholars and researchers from home and abroad. In the past three years, more than 40 world-famous scholars have joined the FCU faculty. They include internationally renowned architect, Kengo Kuma; Professor Chin-*Chen Chang, who is considered Taiwan's father of cryptography; and Chung-Jen Hsu, President of PXmart, Chairman of the Commerce Development Research Institute.

FCU has established numerous and diverse industry-academia alliances to provide students with professional internship programs and training. So far, alliances have been forged with over 500 enterprises, including ventures throughout Taiwan, China, Japan, and other Asian countries. Each year there are more than 1,000 internship opportunities in various fields, which has achieved a win-win-win situation for FCU, students and industries.

Global Vision-- For the young generation, the amazing journey begins with FCU. The school's numerous partnerships and academic exchange programs with universities around the world offer tremendous advantages to students. Students are highly encouraged to participate in addition, the international exchange programs, field trips, volunteer programs, and overseas study tours.
