Chung Hwa University of Medical Technology was established in 1968. And it is now the best medical university in Taiwan. The University has approximately 8 thousand students in campus. Chung Hwa University of Medical Technology emphasize hands-on learning, and there are currently more than 800 organizations cooperating with us. Our graduates perform well in passing national license exams, such as medical technician, registered nurse, nutritionist, food technician.

Students in this university also perform well in certificate tests, such as safety and hygiene managing, health care managing, IT, disease classification, Chinese cuisine, Western bakery, medical analysis, child care-giving, babysitting, hair dressing and international certificates in ACA, MOS, MTA, MCAS,MCITP.

Admission Criteria

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

1. Graduated from high school or university.
2. Passed the Chinese test at least Level 2
3. *Those who have foreign nationality and have resided overseas for more than six consecutive years at the time of application.

* Chinese students born overseas who have resided continuously so far, or have recently resided overseas for more than 6 consecutive years, and have obtained permanent or long-term residence permits for their place of residence

Can provide financial proof of living expenses for three months in Taiwan and tuition fees for the first academic year.

Approximate Living Expenses: NT$5000~8000/month

★Those who meet the admission process and complete the registration procedure are charged only half of the tuition fee (50% off) for the first semester.

★For a 4-year undergraduate program student, NT$ 150,000 will be distributed in 7 semesters starting from the 2rd semester onwards.

All overseas students studying in this University, no matter what his/her department or schooling system is, could apply to the OICSA (Office of International and Cross-Strait Affairs) if they have never accepted scholarship or grants from other government or privately-owned institutions.

For a 2-year undergraduate program student, the new students having completed the registration procedures will be granted NT$65,000, which will be allocated evenly in 3 semesters starting their second semester in this University.

The transfer students, despite their systems, will be granted NT$20,000 every semester during their schooling in this University

The scholarships will be automatically cancelled if the awarded students extend their study period, suspend, drop out, transfer or leave school for any other reasons.  These students should not require this University to continue allocating the scholarship they have yet received.  Those who resume studying after suspension will be granted as transfer students.
