Nan Kai University of Technology is a comprehensive university, aiming at training students to “Master Virtue and Wisdom; Practice Hands and Mind”. Nan Kai University of Technology was founded in 1971. Our educational philosophy is Realization, Innovation, Comprehensiveness, and Harmonization.

Nan Kai University of Technology was established almost half a century ago. It was named for the distinction of being the first university in Nantou County. Situated at central Taiwan, our school is adjacent to famous tourist spots – Sun Moon Lake, Ali Mountain, Hui Sun Forest, and Chingjing Farm, beautiful as Mongolia. Also, with the combined advantages of local industries, and a developmental basis of many years, we offer students the most abundant resources and excellent surroundings.

Believing in humanism, we have constructed a graceful, unpretentious , human-and art-based campus; a comprehensive space to live and to grow. Our curriculum is designed to integrate interdisciplinary knowledge for cultivating students’ expertise. Our general education focuses on breeding a highly moral and ethical person. Our management features in-service training promotion, a type of recurrent education. Our educational approach is to expand faculty and students’ worldview.
