On November 27, 2019,
TECSID was invited by PPKK Airlangga University to provide information about daily life, study, and work opportunities in Taiwan. Lots of Indonesian students want to continue their studies abroad while taking part-time jobs to fill their time and add experience and pocket money while they are abroad.
On this occasion, TECSID shared information about further studies in Taiwan starting from the registration, selection, and announcement procedures. In addition, information about life in Taiwan is also shared as students can also take part time jobs, and this is a legal case as long as it is in accordance with the provisions set by the Taiwan government.
Lots of students are enthusiastic about listening to this information, for them if they get the opportunity to work, they can add experience, relationships, and also expertise that might not be obtained if working in the country.
In the information sharing session, it was also shown the experiences of alumni students from Indonesia who also continued their studies without getting a scholarship and they could still survive in Taiwan until graduating college. This made the audience present motivated to prepare themselves to be able to compete for further studies abroad, especially in Taiwan.
