The Chinese Language Center at Asia Univ. (AU) offered two courses of Language & Culture as part of AU’s entire summer programs. These two Mandarin courses were sponsored financially by MOE, Taiwan and attracted as many as 85 students from overseas partner universities to take part, of whom 65 came from Indonesia, mainly from UNJ, UNDIP, UMY, UMM, and UAJY (Atma Jaya Catholic University). Students from Nihon Pharmaceutical University, Japan, Prince Songkla University, Thailand and Raksha Shakti University, India also joined, ,making it a really international program. After the students have successfully completed the course requirements, they will be awarded with an attendance certificate and an academic transcript for credit transfer at their home universities. |
