Asia Univ. (AU) launched a new mode of education fair via online.

Due to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic, Asia Univ. (AU) decided to launch a new mode education fair via online to promote Taiwan high-quality education and to recruit prospective Indonesian students. In total, 27 Taiwan universities, both public and private, joined the event.

In his opening remarks, Professor Jeffrey J. P. Tsai, President of Asia Univ. , referred to this new mode of education fair as an embodiment of AU’s quick and creative response to the pandemic crisis. He in particular expressed his heart-felt thanks to the Ministry of Education, Taiwan, for its strong support and to Prof. Yinghuei Chen, Dean of the International College and his team for successfully launching the event, showing, for all the difficulty caused by the virus, human beings can prevail at the end.

Mr. Andi Bi, Director General of the Department of International and Cross-Strait Education of the Ministry of Education, Taiwan, remarked in his opening speech that he would like to express his gratitude to Asia Univ. on behalf of MOE, Taiwan, for organizing this new and innovative education fair to recruit Indonesian students. He further remarked that this education fair was part of Taiwan government’s New Southbound Policy for the cultivation of young talents on both sides. He wished the big success of the event and thanked all participating universities.
