| Asia Univ. (AU) hosted the 2017 Southeast Asia/South Asia University Rector/President Form on Nov. 20, 2017, and invited nine university rectors and presidents from Indonesia, India, Thailand and Taiwan to take part in the event. The university leaders were asked to address the issue of “The Challenges and Opportunities of the Higher Education in the Age of Industry 4.0”from their university’s perspective. The opinions and viewpoints were expressed via keynote speech, panel discussion and round table dialogue. Mr. Siswadi T. Sibero, the Deputy Representative of Indonesian Economic and Trade Office to Taipei, was invited to deliver a speech. He remarked that his government gave very strong support for the collaboration between Taiwan and Indonesia. He, in particular, expressed his great thanks to Asia Univ. for creating such a beautiful and Muslim-friendly environment for their students to live in and study. |
