Online Taiwan Higher Education Fair (THEF) 2021

Asia University, China Medical University, and TECSID have successfully organized Online Taiwan Higher Education Fair 2021 on 27-29 October 2021 with 63 best public and private Taiwan universities. The universities’ representative gave live presentations to more than ten thousand Indonesian students. Through this event, the organizers facilitated the visitors to get in touch with each university’s representatives. The Online Taiwan Higher Education Fair 2021 was streamed on YouTube. Moreover, THEF 2021 also provided a Virtual Booth with 63 universities’ information available for one whole month for everyone. The Virtual Booth is accessible for everyone without the need for registration. 

The event was opened by the opening remarks from Dr. Mon-Chi Lio, Political Deputy Minister, Ministry of Education, Dr. Jeffrey, Tsai, President of Asia University, Ambassador John Chen from Taipei Economic and Trade Office Indonesia in Jakarta, and followed by the opening remarks from three university rectors, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih of Universitas Airlangga, Dr. Komarudin, M.Si, of Jakarta State University, and Dr. Ir. Gunawan Budiyanto, M.P., of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.

The Online Taiwan Higher Education Fair 2021 had lucky draw sessions on each day. More than 80 exciting prizes were up for all the participants, with the first prizes two laptops and an iPad. The participants also had the chance of winning scholarships to pursue degree program from Taiwan’s top universities such as China Medical University, Asia University, and Shih Chien university. In addition, there was scholarship of Mandarin Class program from I-Shou for Indonesian students who attended the event.
