On January 20, 2021, TECSID held a Scholarship Webinar in Taiwan for S1-S2 at the Islamic University of Malang through the Zoom Meeting. Apart from the Zoom Meeting, this event was also broadcast live via Youtube Live Public Relations of Unisma [Official] and was attended by 176 participants.
On the occasion of this webinar, the moderator of the event was hosted directly by Dr. Imam Wahyudi K., as Head of the Office of International Affairs UNISMA. The event was opened by the welcome remarks from Rector of the Islamic University of Malang, Prof. Dr. H. Maskuri, M.Si. In his honorable remarks Prof. Maskuri conveyed several collaborations carried out by the Islamic University of Malang with several universities in Taiwan. One of them is the National Pingtung University. He also informed that currently there are two UNISMA lecturers who are currently taking doctoral degree there. With this webinar event, it is hoped that young lecturers at UNISMA and several universities in Indonesia will be enthusiastic about continuing their further studies abroad, especially in Taiwan.
Participants were very enthusiastic about participating in this webinar event, so many questions were submitted to us. In addition to the presentation of material by TECSID, Primasari Wardhani, UNISMA also invited two UNISMA Lecturers by online who were studying in Taiwan. This can provide the latest and update information on the condition of Taiwan in this pandemic era. Besides, they can alsp provide direct testimony to encourage participants to continue their education in Taiwan. It is hoped that with direct sharing with alumni, Indonesian students will remain enthusiastic about pursuing further studies abroad.
