TECSID organized Mandarin Teacher Training on Dec. 13 - 15, 2019

TECSID organizes Mandarin Teacher Training activities at Campus B Library, Airlangga University. This activity is an annual routine activity which is participated by representatives of mandarin teachers in Indonesia. The mandarin teachers are given training and learning the Taiwanese version of Mandarin.
The event was opened by the Head of Airlangga Global Engagement, DIAN EKOWATI SE., M.Sc., M.AppCom (OrgCh)., Ph.D. (UNAIR) and also Prof. Shiao-Yuh, Chou (Asia University), and Mrs. Dyah (Program Coordinator of UNAIR PUSBA).
In this Mandarin Teacher Training activity, 3 speakers from Taiwan, namely Shien-Chu, Chen (laoshi), Prof. Shiao-Yuh, Chou (Asia University), and Yu-Chien, Chen (Asia University). The activity which lasted for 3 days was attended by 35 Mandarin language teachers from several cities in Indonesia. The learning material presented is the method of delivering Mandarin language in class, Mandarin learning technology, and many more. Participants who attend the training are free of registration fees. Participants who attend until the training is completed will receive a certificate.
Active participants who get good assessments also have the opportunity to be able to become lecturers at the UNAIR Language Center for Mandarin language training. With this training program the participants felt happy to be able to add knowledge, insights, and new material in Mandarin. Not only listening to the material delivered by the speaker, the participants also actively participated in singing, dancing, and other creative activities. The participants hope to join the event in the future.
