The 2022 Taiwan Fellowship Scholarship Program is open for applications from May 1 to June 30, 2021
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of Taiwan is pleased to announce the 2022 Taiwan Scholarship Program, an exciting opportunity for overseas scholars and experts who are interested in topics such as political-economic dynamics in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic, security in the Asia-Pacific region, New Southbound Policy, global information security, defense strategy, Disinformation Confrontation, Gender Equality Studies to enroll in this program.
Scholarship Scheme
Monthly grant
A. Lecturer, professor, research associate, or associate research fellow: NT$60,000 (approximately USD 2,100)
B. Assistance of professors, research assistants, or doctoral candidates: NT$50,000 (approximately USD1,770)
C. One return economy class ticket for the most direct route to Taiwan. (The subsidy will be decided by MOFA in accordance with the relevant regulations).
Admission Terms:
The recipient is a professor, associate professor, assistant professor, post-doc researcher, doctoral candidate, or doctoral program student in a relevant department at a university, or a researcher at an equivalent level in an academic institution (Universities or institutions must not be based in Taiwan.)
The scholarship period can be 3 to 12 months, starting from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022. Applicants must submit a complete application to the TETO Office in Surabaya after submitting an online application on the official website http://taiwanfellowship.ncl.edu.tw/eng /apply.aspx
Applications are open from May 1 to June 30, 2021.
